Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the US and today, I’m going to be cooking and baking.

I just bought The Dahlia Bakery Cookbook: Sweetness in Seattle by Tom Douglas. If you’ve read Bonded By Blood, you know I’m a huge fan of his. 😉 And the tagline on his new cookbook is very apropos given that I write the Sweetblood series, which is set in Seattle. In fact, I had a fangirl, deja vu moment when I noticed that.

When I made his recipe for Serious Biscuits, I loved them so much that I’m making them again for Thanksgiving. I found where he posted the recipe online. Try these biscuits (they’re easy to make and totally fabulous) then go out and buy the cookbook. You won’t be disappointed.
